HP Officejet 3830 Unbox Setup Control Panel is a Touch screen 2.2 inch Monochrome display that is integrated on a Magic frame. Now you can access absolutely all printer functions and features over the control panel itself. Using the Touch screen you can intutively setup each of the web services without slowing down. Your Printer can be connected to a Network over Wireless medium and thus eliminates the need for accessing network. Your printer wireless connection is categorized into Automatic Wireless and Wi-Fi Direct Access. Adding to it, your printer is also capable of connecting to a network using USB Cable. HP OfficeJet 3830 Fax feature is built with a storage capacity of 100 faxes and also transmits faxes equally well. Your printer is now adapted to Mobile printing techniques using ePrint, AirPrint and HP AiO Remote Apps. Now you can Print and Scan On the Go using OfficeJet 3830 without your presence.

Description of the Control Panel:

  1. Power press button: Switches your Printer power control to ON/OFF condition
  2. Home button: Retraces to Home Screen display
  3. Control Panel Screen: Touch or Swipe the Control Panel Screen to open the OfficeJet 3830 Dashboard
  4. Wireless Light: Signals the wireless connection status. Different types of connection status are:
    • Solid blue LED light indicates the readiness of your printer Wireless Connection
    • A Slow flashing light signals the availability of your Wireless Connection but unsynchronized to network
    • A Fast flashing light indicates a faulty wireless connection
    • OFF Wireless LED Light infers the shutdown of wireless connectivity
  5. Help button: Opens the Help Menu with an enumerated list of all help topics to be select from
  6. Back button: Returns to previous screen display

Procedure to unpack and setup Officejet 3830:

  • Firstly try to unpack the printer 3830 from the Box and devise it on a desk
  • Peel off the tapes and get rid of the packing from your All-in-One
  • Remove the protective sticker that is pasted on the Control Panel
  • Open the OfficeJet Scanner Lid and then remove all tapes affixed to your scanner glass
  • Open the Cartridge access door and try to get rid of the internal packing
  • Now open the Paper tray extension and then try loading HP A4 sheets
  • Slide the pair of paper width guide towards the paper to keep them firm and intact
  • Try to connect the power cable for your OfficeJet 3830 and then turn power on
  • Also, switch power on for your personnel computer and then wait for your OS to come to a Standby mode operation
  • Now try to establish a USB cable connection for your printer and computer terminal
  • Open Cartridge access door and wait for the print carriage to remain silent. Now try installing the HP Ink Cartridges within the cartridge slot respective to color coded letters
  • Load the OfficeJet 3830 CD to your CD Driver and try running the Auto Setup program
  • Once finished with the printer software installation then go ahead and give a print command
